Without a worry, a herd grazes on a hillside in the afternoon sun. We enter the Preserve, which lies near the tip of Tomales Point at the end of the peninsula. Continue north on Pierce Point Rd. till you pass the cattle ranch. At this point the road will wind up a steep hill. When you reach the top, slow down. Herds abound in this particular area and can even be seen crossing the road at times. Historic Pierce Point Ranch lies at the bottom of the hill.
